GS Retail's convenience store GS25 announced on the 16th that it will open a 'Jack Daniels×McLaren' pop-up store with a Formula One (F1) racetrack concept at its premium flagship store 'Door to Seongsu' on the 17th.
Door to Seongsu is a pop-up space recently attracting attention from various liquor brands. Located on Yeonmujang-gil in Seongsu-dong, a popular area among the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), it offers an opportunity to expand customer touchpoints and is designed to effectively convey brand identity.
This time, Jack Daniels and the sports car brand McLaren have teamed up for the first time in the industry. The two companies signed a global partnership agreement last year, spanning over three years. The Jack Daniels×McLaren pop-up store concept is designed like an F1 racetrack, reflecting the unique identities of both Jack Daniels and McLaren brands. Various experiential programs are also prepared, including a signature recipe cocktail bar, a pre-booked cocktail class, a photo booth, bottle engraving service, and a McLaren limited edition goods giveaway event. Customers visiting the pop-up store can participate in these programs sequentially.
Jack Daniels whiskey and McLaren limited edition collaboration packages will also be sold. The product packaging features designs reminiscent of both Jack Daniels and McLaren, targeting not only whiskey enthusiasts but also motorsports fans. These products will be available nationwide at GS25, GS The Fresh, and Wine25 Plus stores starting from the end of October.
