Suwon City Conducts Comprehensive Maintenance of Long-Term Abandoned Vehicles
The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province is launching a comprehensive cleanup of abandoned vehicles.
On the 16th, Suwon City announced that by the 6th of next month, it will conduct a thorough removal of abandoned vehicles, focusing on areas with frequent complaints about abandoned cars and public parking lots with high resident usage.
The targets for cleanup are vehicles deemed to be left unattended on roads for extended periods without proper management, or vehicles abandoned for more than two months on others' land such as apartments or private property without proper authorization.
Suwon City plans to encourage vehicle owners to voluntarily move their cars through an abandoned vehicle inspection team, and will coordinate with district traffic guidance teams and Suwon Urban Corporation to handle illegally parked vehicles violating the Road Traffic Act.
