City Council Member Launches Nationwide Citizen Petition Campaign for Saemangeum Jurisdiction
The Gunsan City Council (Chairman Kim Young-il) announced on the 13th that it attended the '2023 Gunsan Lifelong Learning Festival' event.

Held on the 13th and 14th at Eunpa Lake Park Parking Lot 2, this event is organized by the Citizens' Education Center and features various programs such as lifelong education performance presentations and a residents' autonomy program competition.
On this day, city council members also conducted a citywide signature campaign urging Jeonbuk Province to make a decision regarding the jurisdiction of Saemangeum.
Chairman Kim Young-il said, "Members of the Gunsan City Council are working hard to protect Saemangeum's jurisdiction, even going as far as shaving their heads," adding, "Let us fight together with the citizens to create a new future for Saemangeum."
