Suwon-si Provides Rabies Vaccine Free of Charge
The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will provide rabies vaccines free of charge until the 31st of this month.
The support is available for pet dogs registered in Suwon that are over 2 months old. Dogs that have not been vaccinated or whose vaccination was over a year ago are eligible.
Vaccinations can be administered at 64 designated animal hospitals on a first-come, first-served basis for up to 3,740 dogs.
Suwon city provides the vaccines free of charge, and pet owners only need to pay a vaccination fee of 10,000 KRW.
The list of 64 designated animal hospitals can be checked on the Suwon city website.

A Suwon city official stated, "Rabies is a zoonotic disease that can pose a threat to public safety," adding, "It can be eradicated through the rabies vaccination program within the city."
