Uljin-gun Opens Applications for Eco-Friendly Home Boiler Installation Subsidies... Support Limited to Low-Income Households Starting Next Year
Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, is implementing a support project for eco-friendly low-NOx boilers for households to create a city with clean air free of fine dust.
The support targets homeowners within the jurisdiction who have installed or replaced a condensing eco-friendly boiler certified with the Type 1 environmental label by the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute in 2023. The support amount is KRW 100,000 per condensing boiler for general households and KRW 600,000 for low-income households.
Applications can be submitted online through the boiler supplier or by visiting the Environmental Hygiene Division’s Environmental Planning Team. Support is provided on a first-come, first-served basis until the December budget is exhausted, covering a total of 52 units: 50 for general households and 2 for low-income households.
