SK Geocentric plans to strengthen customer information provision and continue communication and collaboration through this platform.
On the 9th, SK Geocentric announced the establishment of the online platform 'SK GeoPlanet.' SK GeoPlanet provides information on all products produced and sold by the company in both Korean and English. Customers can make product inquiries through the inquiry function, and polymer products can be ordered directly online.
On GeoPlanet, customers can also check order status and shipping information. The platform includes a feature where SK Geocentric employees respond directly to various inquiries, enabling systematic history management through a two-way communication channel compared to offline orders.
Additionally, the platform offers a simulation function where customers can input compounding ratios to predict resulting physical properties, along with 'recommended recipes' to help secure desired properties, supporting customers' product development. Various professional materials such as product samples and physical property analysis data will also be provided. Compounding refers to the process of mixing raw materials in appropriate ratios to produce materials suited for specific applications.
Starting with polymer product sales, SK Geocentric plans to expand information provision and sales of high value-added products such as Ethylene Acrylic Acid (EAA) and Ionomer. In the future, recycled products to be produced in earnest at Ulsan ARC (Advanced Recycling Cluster), the world's first comprehensive waste plastic recycling complex being established by SK Geocentric, will also be linked to contribute to the activation of the circular economy. It is expected that inquiries related to the purchase and use of recycled products will increase once Ulsan ARC is completed.
