View original imageThe Democratic Party's Public Relations Department stated in a notice that "Leader Lee was discharged from Green Hospital this afternoon and will undergo recovery treatment at home for the time being," adding, "He plans to attend and support Jin Gyo-hoon's focused campaign while on his way home after discharge."
Leader Lee, who began a hunger strike on August 31 demanding government reform, was hospitalized on the 18th of last month due to a sudden deterioration in health. His discharge comes after 21 days.
Originally, Leader Lee intended to join Jin's campaign the previous day but canceled the schedule due to medical staff's advice.
