Samsung Research America Discusses Technology Trends with External Experts
Samsung Electronics announced on the 9th that it held the '2023 Tech Forum' in Silicon Valley, USA, inviting leader-level external talents to introduce major business directions and research areas and discuss technology trends.
Now in its fifth year, the 'Tech Forum' took place at Samsung Research America located in Mountain View, Silicon Valley. A total of about 90 participants attended, including leader-level developers and designers from the US and Samsung Electronics executives. From Samsung Electronics, a large number of executives and research officers participated, including Han Jong-hee, Vice Chairman and CEO of the DX Division, Roh Tae-moon, President of the MX Business Division, Kim Woo-joon, President of the Network Business Division, Jeon Kyung-hoon, President and CTO of the DX Division, and development executives from various business units, sharing the company's vision and business with the attendees.
Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to listen to lectures and engage in discussions with Samsung Electronics executives in related fields on trending topics such as ▲Artificial Intelligence (AI) ▲Mobile Experience ▲Intelligent Home Appliances ▲SoC (System on Chip) ▲Network Virtualization Technologies.
At the event, Vice Chairman Han Jong-hee stated, "Samsung Electronics has focused on how technology can solve real-life difficulties and problems to provide better everyday experiences," adding, "Through personalized hyper-connectivity where all devices are connected as one, we strive to realize technologies that embody everyone's dreams and wishes." He further proposed, "Let us join Samsung Electronics' future challenge to create new businesses that can move the world."

Leading the event was a lecture by Samsung Electronics CTO Jeon Kyung-hoon on 'The Future of Samsung Electronics R&D,' followed by explanations of major research and future visions from executives of various business units and organizations, including Video Display, MX, Home Appliances, Network, and Samsung Research. A Samsung Electronics official stated, "We plan to continue creating networking opportunities for outstanding talents through various forms of events."
