Yoon Hyung-wook (Sunchang County Office) won the bronze medal in the men's singles soft tennis event at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.
On the 7th, Yoon Hyung-wook lost a close match 3-4 (4-1 1-4 4-6 10-8 0-4 4-2 3-7) to Taiwan's Chang You-sung in the men's singles soft tennis semifinals held at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center in Zhejiang Province, China. In soft tennis, players who lose in the semifinals are awarded bronze medals without a separate third-place playoff.
Yoon Hyung-wook, who won a bronze medal in the team event at this competition, also finished the tournament with a bronze medal in singles.

South Korea had won gold medals three consecutive times in men's singles soft tennis at the 2010 Guangzhou (Lee Yo-han), 2014 Incheon (Kim Hyung-jun), and 2018 Jakarta-Palembang (Kim Jin-woong) Games, but this year's final will be contested between Chang You-sung and Uematsu Toshiki (Japan).
