Kyung Hee Medical Center, 52nd Anniversary Ceremony... "Collaboration and Communication Are the Driving Forces of Growth"
Kyung Hee Medical Center announced on the 6th that it held the 52nd anniversary ceremony of its opening on the 5th at the Hospital Information Administration Building, Seminar Room 1.
About 200 faculty and staff attended the ceremony, including Kim Seong-wan, Director of Kyung Hee University Medical Center and Vice President of Medical Affairs; Oh Ju-hyung, Director of Kyung Hee University Hospital; Hwang Ui-hwan, Director of Kyung Hee University Dental Hospital; Jeong Hee-jae, Director of Kyung Hee University Korean Medicine Hospital; and Jeong Sang-seol, Director of Humanitas Cancer Hospital.
In his commemorative speech, Director Kim Seong-wan said, "Despite increasingly difficult circumstances, all members have united to establish hospital-specific responsibility management systems, reorganize various governance structures, improve medical and research infrastructure, establish a win-win labor-management culture, and strengthen external cooperation, thereby laying a solid foundation for future growth." He added, "Innovation and change will create a new Kyung Hee, and collaboration and communication are the driving forces that promote even greater growth. Let us take today to warmly praise and encourage each other for the hard work we have done so far."
The Kyung Hee Medical Award Grand Prize was awarded to Professor Kim Jin-bae of the Cardiology Department. In the paper achievement category, Professors Eun Young-gyu of Otorhinolaryngology, Moon Ju-young of Nephrology, Associate Professor Ryu Jae-hong of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Associate Professor Nam Ok-hyung of Pediatric Dentistry, and Associate Professor Go Seok-jae of Korean Internal Medicine were selected. In the research funding achievement category, Director Jeong Hee-jae of Kyung Hee University Korean Medicine Hospital and Professor Baek Yong-hyun of Acupuncture and Moxibustion were selected.

For long-term service awards, in the 40-year category, 11 people including Gong Hyun-ja of the Nursing Headquarters were honored; in the 30-year category, 50 people including Oh Ju-hyung, Director of Kyung Hee University Hospital; in the 20-year category, 54 people including Oh Seung-jun, Director of Medical Cooperation Headquarters (Endocrinology); and in the 10-year category, 74 people including Professor Choi Yong-seong of Pediatrics and Adolescents received awards. The Excellent Department Award was given to the Nuclear Medicine Department and eight other departments, and the Excellent Staff Award was given to Professor Yu Ji-wook of Neurosurgery and 19 others.
