"If You Want to Pass the Public Service Exam, Don't Miss This"... Public Service Expo Kicks Off in Yeongnam Region
Held in Busan, Gyeongju, Cheongsong, and Andong
Special Lectures and One-on-One Consultations with Successful Public Servants
The "2023 Visiting Public Service Expo," a major event for public servant recruitment information, has begun its schedule in the Yeongnam region.
The Ministry of Personnel Management, led by Commissioner Kim Seung-ho, announced on October 5 that the "2023 Visiting Public Service Expo" will be held at various locations, starting with Pusan National University, followed by Gyeongju, Cheongsong, and Andong in North Gyeongsang Province. The expo will take place at Pusan National University on October 5, Dong-Eui University in Busan on October 16, Dongguk University in Gyeongju on October 19, Gyeongju Information High School on October 23, Cheongsong High School in Cheongsong County on December 19, and Gyeongil High School in Andong on December 20.
This year, in order to provide the latest recruitment information, newly appointed public servants from various job categories and entry backgrounds will give special lectures about their experiences passing the exam and working in public service, and will also offer one-on-one consultations with young attendees. In addition, various on-site events are planned, such as allowing visitors to try solving actual public service exam questions or participate in surveys via social media (SNS).
The "Public Service Expo" has been held annually since 2011 to systematically provide public service recruitment information to civil service exam candidates, university students, and young people. Traditionally, the expo was held at a single location for a short period each year, but in 2023, for the first time in 13 years, it is being operated as a "visiting" event to strengthen communication with the younger generation.
After kicking off in the Chungcheong region on September 21, the Public Service Expo will tour a total of 14 universities and 14 high schools nationwide, holding 35 sessions over three months: Yeongnam and Honam regions in October, Honam and Gangwon in November, and Yeongnam again in December.
