Discussion on Early Completion of Road Expansion Project
On the 5th, Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it held a party-government consultation with the Democratic Party Hwaseong-byeong Regional Committee at the Hwaseong City Workers' Comprehensive Welfare Center to discuss the promotion of major living infrastructure projects.
The consultation was attended by Kwon Chil-seung, Democratic Party Hwaseong-byeong Regional Chairman, Hwaseong Mayor Jeong Myeong-geun, Democratic Party-affiliated provincial and city council members, and city officials.

The city explained that both sides agreed to strive to reflect major living infrastructure projects in next year's budget during the meeting.
In particular, the city decided to promote the installation of a large-scale performance hall that will become a regional landmark as part of the creation of a cultural and arts town, a key local issue.
Additionally, by March next year, the city agreed to promptly complete the basic and detailed designs for the expansion and paving construction of the road sections between Jangandae and Wangrim Intersection on City Road No. 31, and between Sanggi and Naeri, and to prioritize the allocation of related project funds.
The consultation also discussed measures to expedite administrative procedures for the park development project of the Gibaedong Gogeumsan joint cemetery.
Furthermore, the city added that the agenda included ▲ establishment of a small library in Gibaedong ▲ making Hwaseong safe for women ▲ promoting walking in Hwaseong City ▲ installation of cooling fog systems in parks ▲ and regional economic revitalization measures on university idle land.
