Refusing Dates Using 'Children' as an Excuse Leads to Considering Remarriage
What thoughts arise when someone you are dating with the intention of remarriage only contacts you via phone calls and texts and avoids face-to-face dates? For men, the thought is often "Are they just keeping me on the hook?" while women tend to wonder "Are they just testing the waters?"
This is the result of a survey conducted jointly by Only-U, a remarriage-specialized matchmaking company, and Vienarae, a marriage information company, from the 25th of last month to the 3rd of this month. The survey targeted 512 divorced men and women nationwide who hope to remarry (256 men and 256 women each).

Following that, men answered "Are they stingy with dating expenses? (23.1%)" and "Are they dating multiple people at once? (16.8%)" among others. Women responded with "Are they stingy with dating expenses? (27.3%)", "Are they dating multiple people at once? (20.7%)", and "Are they just keeping me on the hook? (13.7%)" in that order.
Also, when asked, "If the person you are dating with the intention of remarriage keeps refusing date requests with various excuses, would you reconsider remarriage?" both men and women chose "children (men 28.1% · women 30.5%)". For men, the next reasons were "parents (23.1%)", "work (16.8%)", and "health (15.2%)", while women answered "hobbies (22.3%)", "parents (16.2%)", and "work (14.5%)" in that order.
