Pyeongtaek Port Authority Recruiting Trainees for Maritime Logistics Academy Training
Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority are recruiting 30 trainees to participate in the Maritime Logistics Youth Employment Academy until November 3.
The eligible trainees are young people aged 19 to 34 residing in Gyeonggi Province or graduates (or expected graduates) from universities within the province.
The training will be held from November 15 to December 13 at the Korea International Logistics Association training room (located in Jongno-gu, Seoul) and will cover practical forwarding (freight forwarding) operations, freight transportation practices, international logistics and port theory education, on-site training at Pyeongtaek Port, mentoring by practitioners, and special lectures on self-introduction letters and interviews.
Applications can be submitted through the websites of the Pyeongtaek Port Authority and the Korea International Logistics Association.
Ko Byung-su, Director of the Logistics and Port Division of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "We will actively support the cultivation of talented individuals related to shipping, ports, and logistics to strengthen the competitiveness of Pyeongtaek Port and connect them to employment."

Meanwhile, in the first training session held in August, 11 out of 28 graduates (39%) succeeded in early employment.
