Peacock, which expanded the ready meal market by collaborating with restaurants for the first time in the industry in 2013, is recognized as a pioneer and popularizer of the restaurant ready meal (RMR) market in Korea.
Peacock has introduced numerous hit products through extensive collaborations ranging from long-established restaurants such as Soonhee-ne Bindaetteok, Choma, and Jinjin to Michelin-starred restaurants. Emart pledged mutual growth by presenting appreciation plaques to about 50 partner restaurants.
Nam Hyun-woo, head of Emart’s PL Product Process Development Team, said, “We planned an event to express our gratitude to customers and restaurant partners in celebration of Peacock’s 10th anniversary,” adding, “Peacock will continue to challenge and invest to offer high-quality ready meals at the level of dining out.”
