[Asian Games] Compound Archer So Chaewon Advances to Women's Individual Final

So Chaewon (Hyundai Mobis) advanced to the final of the women's individual compound archery event at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games and secured a silver medal.
On the 3rd, at the Puyang Inhu Sports Center Archery Range in Hangzhou, China, So Chaewon defeated Lati Zilijati Padli 145-142 in the semifinals of the women's individual compound archery event to advance to the final.
If So Chaewon wins the gold medal in the final, South Korea will achieve back-to-back gold medals in this event following Choi Bo-min at the 2014 Incheon Games. The compound individual event was not held at the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Games.
So Chaewon will compete against India's Jyothi Sureka Bennam for the gold medal on the 7th.

The men's compound team secured a bronze medal in the individual event. In the semifinals held that day, South Korea's Joo Jae-hoon (Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power) and Yang Jae-won (Sangmu) were both eliminated and faced each other in the third-place match. In the semifinals, Joo Jae-hoon lost 145-147 to India's Abhishek Verma, and Yang Jae-won lost 146-150 to India's Ojas Pravin Deotale. Joo Jae-hoon and Yang Jae-won will compete for the bronze medal on the 7th.
