[Asian Games] Woo Haram Surprises by Revealing "My Girlfriend Is Diving's Joe Eunji"

Woo Haram (25, Korea Sports Promotion Foundation), who won the silver medal in the diving event at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, revealed his girlfriend. She is diving athlete Jo Eunji (26, Incheon Metropolitan City Hall). They are an official couple well known in the industry.
On the 30th of last month, Woo Haram and Lee Jaekyung (24, Gwangju Metropolitan City Sports Council) scored a total of 393.00 points in the 1st to 6th rounds of the men's synchronized 3m springboard final held at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center in Zhejiang Province, China, winning the silver medal.
In an interview after the competition, Woo Haram said, "I hope this silver medal will be a Chuseok gift to my family, girlfriend, teammates, and everyone."
When reporters asked, "Are you revealing your girlfriend?" Woo Haram replied, "Everyone already knows who my girlfriend is. I want to publicly express my gratitude."
Woo Haram's girlfriend, Jo Eunji, is also the younger sister of Jo Eunbi (28, Incheon Metropolitan City Hall), who competed in the women's diving event at this Hangzhou Asian Games.
Lee Jaekyung (24, Gwangju Metropolitan City Sports Council), who teamed up with Woo Haram to win the silver medal in the men's synchronized 3m springboard, is also a 'diving husband.' He is married to former diving athlete Kim Yoona and has a daughter.
Lee Jaekyung said, "I felt sorry to be away from my wife and daughter during the holiday that should be spent with family, so I wanted to win more medals. Thanks to many people, I won a medal at the Asian Games, but the biggest support came from my wife. I want to thank my wife who devoted herself so that I could focus on training."
With this performance, Woo Haram won his ninth Asian Games medal. He won one silver and three bronze medals at the 2014 Incheon Games, and two silver and two bronze medals at the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Games.
On the 30th, Woo Haram and Lee Jaekyung performed in the men's synchronized 3m springboard diving final at the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games held at the Olympic Sports Center Swimming Pool in Hangzhou, China.

The gold medal was won by Yan Siwei and He Chao (China) with 422.55 points. The bronze medal went to Bin Puter Muhammad Shafiq and Ooi Tze Liang (Malaysia) with 380.22 points.

In the women's synchronized 10m platform final held earlier, Moon Nayoon (26, Jeju Provincial Office) and Jo Eunbi (28, Incheon City Hall) placed 4th with 263.49 points.
