The team, consisting of Im Sung-jae, Kim Si-woo, Cho Woo-young, and Jang Yoo-bin, combined for a team score of 58-under-par 590 through the third round on the third day of the tournament held on the 30th at the West Lake International Golf Course (par 72, 7,280 yards) in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. They lead by 14 strokes over the joint second-place teams from Thailand and Hong Kong, who are at 44-under-par 604. With the final round scheduled for the 1st of next month, the team has turned on the green light for victory.
However, since the team event ranks teams by combining the top three scores from each country, the 14-stroke lead can be somewhat challenged. In the individual event, a comeback victory must be pursued. Dai Chi Ko (Hong Kong) leads alone at 24-under-par 192, while Jang Yoo-bin is in sole third place at 20-under-par 196, Im Sung-jae is tied for fourth at 19-under-par 197, and Kim Si-woo holds sole eighth place at 16-under-par 200.
