Nowon District Mayor Oh Seung-rok Signs Agreement to Support Safety Inspection Costs for Sanggye Imkwang Apartment Reconstruction
Nowon-gu, Seoul (Mayor Oh Seung-rok) announced on the 27th at 1:30 PM in the mayor’s office that it has signed the 'Sanggye Imkwang Apartment Safety Inspection Cost Support Agreement.'
The signing ceremony was attended by the mayor and four resident representatives of Sanggye Imkwang Apartment, proceeding in the order of ▲opening and briefing on the main contents of the agreement ▲signing of the agreement ▲commemorative photo and closing.
Through this agreement, the district will provide administrative support for the prompt reconstruction of Sanggye Imkwang Apartment. The district will be the first nationwide to provide an interest-free advance payment covering the entire safety inspection cost of approximately 160 million KRW. In October, the follow-up procedure of safety inspection service will commence, aiming to complete the safety inspection service by January 2024.
Meanwhile, the interest-free loan covering the entire reconstruction safety inspection cost supported by the district can be applied for with the consent of the majority of landowners or other owners in the desired complex, and 100% of the cost can be supported interest-free. The inspection cost must be repaid in cash in a lump sum either upon expiration of the loan period or before applying for project implementation approval. The loan period is three years from the date of agreement signing and can be extended annually up to a maximum of 10 years.
