Seongnam City 50th Anniversary Celebration Festival Held... 36 Merchant Associations Participate
Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the '2023 Seongnam City Hope Festival' from October 5 to 7 at major traditional markets and shopping districts in Seongnam.
As part of the 50th anniversary celebration of the city's elevation to city status, this festival is jointly organized with 36 merchant associations and is designed to revitalize traditional markets and local shopping areas.
During the festival, customers who make purchases will receive gifts such as sesame oil, five-grain rice, rice cake soup rice cakes, potatoes, and fruits. Events themed around the number '50' include a 'First 50 Customers Gift Event,' a 'Find the Age 50 Event,' and a '50th Anniversary Ball Lottery Event.'
Additionally, promotional items and goods worth approximately 120 million KRW composed of Seongnam local commercial products, along with Seongnam Love Gift Certificates, fruits, Seongnam FC home game tickets, and meat sets, will be offered as abundant prizes.
Seongnam City expects this festival to convey the significance of the 50th anniversary of the city's elevation and to invigorate the local commercial districts.
