Naju-si Conducts 'Anti-Corruption Integrity Training' for All Employees
Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Yoon Byung-tae) announced on the 25th that it recently conducted the ‘2023 Anti-Corruption Integrity Training’ for all employees at the Naju Culture and Arts Center to foster a culture of integrity within the organization.
The training was led by Lee Ji-moon, director of the Korea Integrity Movement Headquarters and a professional instructor of integrity education from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
On this day, instructor Lee Ji-moon lectured on the major contents of the Public Officials Conflict of Interest Prevention Act and the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act.

View original imageHe also explained, mainly through real-life cases, the violations of the public officials’ code of conduct and prevention of power harassment, emphasizing the matters that public officials must comply with, which resonated with the attendees.
In particular, this training was divided into morning and afternoon sessions to allow all employees to participate, enhancing the overall commitment to anti-corruption and strengthening the determination to spread a culture of integrity.
Mayor Yoon Byung-tae said, “Conducting work with integrity is the path to administration trusted by citizens,” and added, “All Naju City employees should take the lead in creating a corruption-free Naju and a clean and honest public service culture.”
He continued, “We plan to continue implementing more substantial integrity policies to prevent corruption among public officials in advance and enable fairer job performance.”
Meanwhile, the city conducts various trainings throughout the year, including anti-corruption integrity training for all employees, Integrity Live, Integrity Golden Bell, and operation of a self-learning integrity system.
