View original imageGyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority are recruiting the 2nd batch of trainees for the '2023 Gyeonggi Province Maritime Logistics Youth Employment Academy.'
The Maritime Logistics Youth Employment Academy is a program that provides practical theory, on-site training, and employment competency education related to maritime logistics for young people in Gyeonggi Province who wish to pursue a career in the maritime logistics field.
In the first employment academy held throughout August, 11 out of 28 trainees successfully found employment early, achieving a high employment rate of 40%.
Anyone residing in Gyeonggi Province or who has graduated or is expected to graduate from a university located in Gyeonggi Province can apply. The education is free of charge. After a selection process (interview) for applicants, 30 trainees will be finally selected.
The selected trainees will receive a total of 4 weeks of training starting with an orientation on November 15 and continuing until December 13.
The main training includes ▲ Basics of maritime logistics ▲ Incoterms ▲ Bill of lading and other basic and advanced theories related to maritime logistics ▲ Employment briefing sessions ▲ Mentoring by employment seniors ▲ Port tours and other programs to strengthen employment competencies.
