Document Printing Available at Customer Homes and Offices... Hanwha Life Acquires Related Patent
Mobile Print BM System Patent Acquisition
Hanwha Life has obtained a patent that allows insurance contract-related documents to be printed from anywhere. This means insurance planners can easily print documents at customers' homes or offices, making sales activities more convenient.
On the 25th, Hanwha Life announced that it had become the first in the industry to acquire a patent related to the "Mobile Print BM System." Accordingly, planners affiliated with Hanwha Life Financial Services and partner insurance agencies (GA) can now print insurance contract-related documents from anywhere?branches (agencies), planners' or customers' homes, offices, cafes, etc.?by simply logging in on a smartphone or tablet. Previously, printing was only possible within the branch where the planner worked, using a print application (app) or Wi-Fi settings.
Additionally, personal information protection has been fully implemented using technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) optical character recognition (OCR) to ensure that personal data cannot be printed on the documents. This allows even customers who are not familiar with digital technology to easily receive various paper documents. In the future, Hanwha Life plans to evaluate the value of this "Mobile Print BM System" patent technology and intends to license it to other companies.
Since 2020, Hanwha Life has steadily acquired and utilized patents related to digital management. Through the "Insurance Claim AI Automatic Review System" in 2020, it saved over 10 billion KRW in costs. Last year, it also obtained a business model patent for the industry's first "Subscription Automation Solution," a technology that automates insurance planning and subscription processes.
