Chosun University ranked first among private universities in Honam by receiving research funds of over 63.4 billion won last year.
On the 25th, an analysis of the 2022 research fund performance data disclosed by the University Alimi at the end of August confirmed that Chosun University received 63,468,596,000 won in research funds. The total number of projects was 973.
The research fund performance results were calculated by adding external research and internal research funds. External research refers to cases where research funds are provided by the government, local governments, private sectors, or foreign sources, while internal research refers to research expenses borne by the university itself.
Chosun University has maintained its position as the top private university in Honam by receiving 62,636,195,000 won in 2021 and 57,621,506,000 won in 2020.
