"Diplomatic Fool's Outburst"... North Korea Flared Up at Yoon's 'Weapons Trade Warning'

Yoon: "North Korea-Russia Arms Deal... Provocation Threatening South Korea's Security"
North Korea fiercely criticized President Yoon Suk-yeol, who issued a warning about the possibility of North Korea-Russia arms transactions, calling it a "hysterical rant." North Korea claimed that military cooperation between North Korea and Russia is simply "neighbors getting along," and rather accused South Korea of acting as "America's mouthpiece."
On the 25th, North Korea's Korean Central News Agency published an article titled "Hysterical Rant of a Political Ignoramus and Diplomatic Idiot," stating, "The Yoon Suk-yeol puppet, even at the 78th United Nations General Assembly, recklessly roamed around and foam-mouthedly slandered our relationship with Russia," adding, "It is truly a spectacle to see a puppet with no understanding of international relations acting as America's mouthpiece and blindly stirring up trouble."

North Korea referred to President Yoon's remarks, asserting that "It is perfectly natural and normal for neighboring countries to get along well with each other, and there is no reason for it to be a problem," and "Friendly cooperation and development between countries form the foundation of regional and global peace and stability." They particularly mocked Yoon's controversial statement earlier this year in January that "the enemy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is Iran," calling him a "political ignoramus who only causes diplomatic disasters."

North Korea's harsh reaction through foreign media is interpreted as a response conscious of the international community's, led by South Korea and the United States, efforts to contain it. North Korea and Russia agreed on comprehensive cooperation, including in the military field, during Chairman Kim Jong-un's visit to Russia, and especially the possibility of North Korea providing conventional weapons through Russian technology transfer is strongly anticipated. This has been criticized as a violation of United Nations Security Council sanctions resolutions.
