This year's festival featured an all-time great lineup for the first time in five years, generating high expectations even before the performances began. All tickets (free) sold out within a day of opening, leading to an encore sale.
The performers included Lee Seung-hwan, Peppertones, Soran, Roy Kim, HYNN (Park Hye-won), Kim Feel, Touchd, and Himits. Under the theme "Open DMZ, Greater Peace," the festival conveyed messages of peace, resonating deeply with the audience.
The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization also prepared various side events for the festival. At the DMZ popup promotional center and mobile promotional booths, they operated DMZ healing experiences to raise awareness of the DMZ border area. Programs such as making keyrings of endangered DMZ animals from crushed bottle caps and creating eco-friendly biodegradable tea bag flower tea also received positive responses.
