The Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced on the 22nd that the ‘Integrity Recharge! Happy 119 Festival’ program, which consists of traditional Pansori and concerts to reinterpret communication between generations and the value of integrity, and includes an integrity quiz show for everyone to enjoy together, will be conducted in a visiting format. It will start on the 20th of this month at Yeoju and Gwangju Fire Stations and continue until the 30th of next month at the Fire Academy, covering a total of 20 fire stations.
The Fire and Disaster Headquarters developed this program under the theme ‘Happy 119’ to overcome internal organizational issues such as conflicts caused by lack of communication between the MZ generation and older generations, and insufficient understanding among staff after COVID-19.
The response from the staff at Yeoju and Gwangju Fire Stations who participated in the first performance was very enthusiastic.
Kim Ki-hong, a fire lieutenant at Yeoju Fire Station, said, "It was regrettable that there was a lack of communication among staff and no opportunities to come together, so it was a great chance for everyone to participate," adding, "It was refreshing to learn about integrity through diverse cultural performances."
