Yoo Kyung-jun: "One dot is marked next to the invalid vote 'Ga' in the controversy over Lee Jae-myung's arrest motion"
"The De Facto Approval Vote Counts as 150 Votes"
Yoo Kyung-joon, a member of the People Power Party, introduced on the 21st that the number of lawmakers who actually supported the arrest motion for Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, was 150. There was one invalid vote, which had a faint dot marked next to the letter 'Ga'.
On the same day, Yoo said on social media (SNS), "I participated in the vote counting of the Lee Jae-myung arrest motion at the plenary session today, following February," and introduced, "Compared to February (out of 297 votes, 139 in favor, 138 against, 9 abstentions, 11 invalid), there were 10 more defections from the opposition, resulting in 295 votes with 149 in favor, 136 against, 6 abstentions, and 4 invalid votes. This is one vote difference from the required quorum of 148 votes for approval, and compared to the 175 votes in favor of the Prime Minister dismissal motion previously passed under the Democratic Party's leadership, it means there were 39 defections."
Regarding the one vote that caused controversy during the counting process, Yoo introduced, "The last invalid vote had a faint dot next to the letter 'Ga', so it should be considered as 150 votes in favor."
