Gyeongnam Former Police and Military Reserve Association Fills 300kg of White Rice into Sapassaldok
The Gyeongnam Former Police and Auxiliary Police Veterans Association donated 300 kg of white rice (valued at 1.5 million KRW) on the 21st, ahead of Chuseok, the traditional Korean holiday, to be delivered to neighbors in need in Sapa-dong, Seongsan-gu, Changwon Special City.

View original imageThe donated white rice was placed in the Sapa Rice Jar located at the Sapa-dong Administrative Welfare Center. The 'Sapa Rice Jar' is a system that allows low-income households temporarily lacking rice to freely use rice stored in PET bottles. Thanks to donations from local organizations and benefactors, 1,070 kg of white rice was donated last year, benefiting 575 people.
Chairman Lee Kyung-ho said, "I hope this will be of some help to our marginalized neighbors. We will continue to practice sharing for the coexistence of our local community."
