FLO, the first domestic music platform to introduce a cover song service, will hold the cover song challenge for music creators, ‘Plchal,’ from 2 PM on the 21st of September until October 15th. ‘FLO Cover Song’ is a service where any FLO user can share and listen to cover songs featuring their own voice on FLO without worrying about copyright issues.
FLO has prepared the ‘Plchal (FLO Cover Song Challenge)’ event so that more users and music creators can directly take on cover songs and enjoy music. ‘Plchal’ will be held monthly with different themes until November. The theme for September is ‘K-POP.’ Anyone who is a FLO subscriber can participate with either vocal or instrumental performances. Participants can choose from K-POP style songs classified as coverable tracks in the FLO Creator Studio, and to make participation easier without the difficulty of MR production, an acoustic version MR will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis during the event period.
Additionally, FLO will provide all participants in ‘Plchal’ with a 1-month FLO subscription and a music creator certification badge. Selected participants will also receive generous prizes such as iPads and cover song promotion benefits. Uploading three or more cover songs or gaining user reactions such as comments and likes will increase the chances of winning in the draw.
