At this concert, you can enjoy a choral performance by the Busan City Choir and the Busan City Children’s Choir, as well as a traditional Korean music performance of children’s songs by the gugak group ‘Oreumdal’.
The event will be hosted by ‘Bugi,’ Busan City’s communication character.
By performing children’s songs loved by kids, such as the Pororo medley and Octopus’s Dream, it aims to create precious memories for children and their families.
Along with the concert, various side events where children can experience and enjoy activities have also been prepared.
At the ‘Get Balloons from Baseball King Marines’ event, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the entrance of Deulraknallak, the mascot costume of Marines, the main character of the musical ‘Baseball King Marines,’ will hand out balloons to children.
From 3 p.m., for 30 minutes, there will be a corner on the Deulraknallak stage where visitors can take commemorative photos with Bugi.
In addition, visitors can write messages they want to share on Post-it notes and stick them on the memo board located at the entrance of Deulraknallak.
Admission to the concert will be on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 1 p.m. on the day of the event. Families with children are welcome to participate.
Nam Jeong-eun, Director of the Youth Industry-Academia Division of Busan City, said, “We hope that families will come to the concert prepared at Busan City Hall Deulraknallak to celebrate its 1st anniversary and have a joyful and enjoyable time,” adding, “We will continue to strive to develop various contents and programs so that children in Busan can freely play and nurture their imagination and creativity.”
Busan City Hall Deulraknallak is a representative model of the ‘Busan Children’s Complex Cultural Space’ being developed by the city to ensure that children and parents within a 15-minute living radius can use it safely.
Since its opening on September 20, 2022, more than 220,000 visitors, mostly families with children, have visited.
Here, you can take high-quality free classes such as English with native speakers (Tuesday to Saturday), digital courses like coding (Tuesday and Sunday), as well as classes in play, psychology, and arts.
