Kazakh Ambassador to Korea Visits Dong-Eui University to Discuss Kia Motors Talent Development
Nurghali Arstanov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Korea, will visit Dong-Eui University at 3 p.m. on the 26th to discuss talent development in the automobile manufacturing sector.
In Kostanay, Kazakhstan, Kia Motors is currently constructing its second assembly plant, aiming for completion in 2025. The Kazakh ambassador and his delegation will meet with Dong-Eui University President Hansu Hwan to discuss cooperation on talent development and educational programs in the automotive field between the two countries.
On this day, Dong-Eui University and Kostanay University of Kazakhstan plan to focus on discussions regarding the operation of faculty and student exchange programs, joint development of automotive engineering education programs, and industry-academia cooperation with related companies.
Accompanying Ambassador Nurghali Arstanov on the visit to Dong-Eui University are Timur Zaikov, Economic Counselor; Daulet Ibrayev, Secretary; and correspondents from KHABAR, Kazakhstan's national broadcasting station.
After meeting with President Hansu Hwan and his team, they will tour the practical training rooms such as the Noise and Vibration Laboratory and the Self-Made Car Laboratory of the Department of Automotive Engineering at Dong-Eui University, as well as classrooms and ongoing classes.

Kia Motors plans to break ground on its second assembly plant in the Kostanay region of Kazakhstan in October to compensate for the production gap in Russia, with operations scheduled to begin in 2025.
