Additional Discount Benefits Available in Hangzhou Area
UnionPay, a convenient payment service, is offering discount promotions for travelers visiting China. With fingerprint registration waived for Chinese visa applications and the Asian Games being held in Hangzhou, it appears they are preparing for an increase in Chinese travelers.
UnionPay announced on the 20th that until the 31st of next month, customers can receive an immediate discount of up to 20% when paying with a UnionPay card or QR code at all offline merchants across China.
Additionally, extra discount benefits will be provided in Zhejiang Province, including Hangzhou, where the 19th Asian Games are taking place. For payments of 50 yuan or more at QR code merchants using UnionPay, an immediate discount of 25 yuan will be applied.
Furthermore, a dedicated UnionPay customer counter will be established at the China Visa Application Center. Premium UnionPay cardholders will also be offered a service to obtain their visas without waiting.
