KT Collects Used Batteries to Support Youth AI Coding Education
KT Jeonnam-Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters announced on the 20th that the new batteries secured through the waste battery collection campaign will be used to support AI coding education for youth.
The waste battery collection campaign was conducted for one month from the 16th of last month to the 15th of this month. Collection boxes were installed at KT Gwangju Tower and Jeonju Tower, and KT employees voluntarily participated in the collection.
The collected waste batteries were returned and exchanged for new batteries through the local government's 'Waste Battery Exchange Project,' and these batteries were donated to the Dandelion Regional Children's Center in Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, for use in AI coding education equipment.
KT also supported coding education using its AI education platform 'AI Codini' and the autonomous driving car robot 'Altino.'
