40s Missing at Madongho, Goseong, Gyeongnam for 10 Hours... 78 Personnel and 14 Equipment Deployed for Search

At around 10:32 a.m. on the 19th, a man in his 40s who went fishing near Madongho, Maam-myeon, Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam, went missing.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters and Changwon Coast Guard, a passerby reported to 119 that a fisherman was swept away by the water.
The fire and police authorities estimated that Mr. A suffered an accident after jumping into the water to retrieve fishing gear that had fallen in.
Closed-circuit television (CCTV) near the scene reportedly captured footage of Mr. A entering the water near the disappearance site, but the exact cause is under investigation.
The fire department, coast guard, and land police conducted a joint search while blocking the sluice gates of the breakwater but were unable to find Mr. A, and the search was called off around 6 p.m. as it got dark.
The search involved 78 personnel from the fire department, coast guard, land police, and volunteer fire brigade, along with 14 pieces of equipment including the 119 Special Response Team, drones, rescue vehicles, pump trucks, and ambulances.
