Jungoe Academic Welfare Foundation Selects 2023 Basic Science Scholar Students
JW Group's public interest foundation, Jungwoo Academic Welfare Foundation, announced on the 19th that it will recruit for the '2023 Basic Scientist Scholarship,' a housing cost support program for researchers in the basic science field, from the 4th to the 31st of next month.
The 'Basic Scientist Scholarship,' operated by the Jungwoo Academic Welfare Foundation, is a public contest program that supports housing rental fees (monthly rent) so that researchers in the basic science field can focus on their research activities without worrying about housing costs during their research period. This marks the 4th year of the program. Last year, a total of 12 scholars were selected.
The selection targets are domestic and international Korean researchers in the basic science fields (life sciences, biomedical engineering, medicinal chemistry) who have completed at least 3 years of integrated master's and doctoral programs or are currently in doctoral programs. Researchers residing overseas are also eligible to apply. To apply, candidates must submit prepared documents such as a research essay, future growth plan, and research plan via email to the Jungwoo Academic Welfare Foundation by the 31st of next month.
