The Sangsang Village Festival, introduced for the first time this year at KT&G Sangsang Univ, is a participatory festival where university students from all over the country gather and create together. It was organized to support students exhausted from their studies and job preparations. A total of about 500 university students from 170 teams participated in this event.

Participants form a community as residents of the 'Sangsang Village' rather than mere spectators of the festival. They interact and communicate, participate in experiential programs to earn the exclusive currency called 'Sangsang Tongbo,' and create the festival in a self-sufficient way by exchanging goods and talents with each other.

Lee Si-hyung, Head of KT&G Univ Operations Department, said, "Thanks to the active participation of university students, we were able to successfully complete the festival," adding, "We hope this festival, created together, provided young people weary from daily life with vitality and an opportunity to grow further."
