View original imageOn the 19th, the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) announced that it will hold the third quarter 'Visiting Corporate Disclosure Seminar' this year to enhance the understanding of corporate disclosure officers about their duties.
This third quarter seminar will be held on the 25th in Busan and on the 26th in Daegu. The FSS has been conducting corporate disclosure seminars 3 to 4 times a year for corporations required to submit business reports. In this seminar, in addition to disclosure systems, related departments will jointly provide guidance on matters that corporate disclosure officers need to be familiar with.
In particular, the seminar will focus on education about commonly overlooked issues during the disclosure process, such as recent cases of securities registration statement correction requests and key inspection results of business reports. It will also integrate training on preventing unfair trading, including violations by executives and employees of listed companies such as misuse of undisclosed information and return of short-term trading profits.
