Jangseong-gun to Host Lecture by Former Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon on the 21st
Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 18th that it will host the 21st Century Jangseong Academy on the 21st, inviting former Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon.
Lee Nak-yeon, a graduate of Seoul National University’s Department of Law, worked as a reporter for the Dong-A Ilbo for 21 years before entering politics. He served as a five-term member of the National Assembly, the 27th Governor of Jeollanam-do, the 45th Prime Minister, and the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea.
This lecture will focus on the contents of his recently published book, "Survival Strategy of the Republic of Korea," sharing his convictions and philosophy on North-South relations solutions and foreign policy that he has studied over the years.
The 21st Century Jangseong Academy, the world's longest-running social education program, is open to anyone through on-site lectures and real-time YouTube broadcasts.
The lecture, which admits attendees on a first-come, first-served basis, will be held at the Small Theater of the Jangseong Culture and Arts Center, and the video can be watched anytime again on Jangseong-gun’s official website and YouTube channel.
