A man in his 60s falls to death while repairing transmission tower on a hill in Tongyeong
On the 17th, a man in his 60s fell to his death while performing maintenance work on a transmission tower in a mountain area of Gwangdo-myeon, Tongyeong-si, Gyeongnam.
According to the Tongyeong Police Station on the 18th, the deceased, Mr. A, fell from a height of 80 meters around 11:10 a.m. while replacing the steel structure of the transmission tower.
Although a 119 emergency medical team was dispatched following a report from a colleague who witnessed the accident, Mr. A suffered severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
