Woo Sang-ho, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, commented on reports that a key official from the Presidential Office said, "Who told (him) to (fast)?" regarding Lee Jae-myung's hunger strike, saying on the 18th, "How can someone say such a thing?"
On the same day, Woo appeared on the YouTube channel 'Kim Eo-jun's Humility is Difficult News Factory' and criticized, "No matter what they think inwardly, it is absolutely unacceptable for employees of an institution responsible for a nation to make such rude remarks about the life-risking hunger strike of the leader of the main opposition party," adding, "They are truly wicked people."

View original imageRegarding the recent audit announcement by the Board of Audit and Inspection that there was manipulation of major national statistics such as real estate during the Moon Jae-in administration, Woo said, "I am angry that all of this is political and that state institutions are being used as tools to attack the previous administration," adding, "The existence of the Board of Audit and Inspection is gradually disappearing."
About the upcoming by-election for the Mayor of Gangseo District, Seoul, in October, where former Mayor Kim Tae-woo was selected as the final candidate for the People Power Party, he said, "Although it was through a primary process, the president pardoned and reinstated a criminal whose guilty verdict was confirmed by the court, effectively making it a strategic nomination," and added, "The residents of Gangseo should judge this absurd nomination of putting Kim Tae-woo back into the position he vacated."

He continued, "Because the president directly intervened, this by-election has the character of a direct evaluation of the president," and predicted, "the fate of the leadership of both major parties depends on the outcome of this election, and the side that wins will gain a very important leadership role."
