Duzon Bizon Proves Global Competence in Precision Medical Big Data Platform
Duzon Bizon announced on the 18th that Samsung Seoul Hospital has obtained the ‘HIMSS AMAM Stage6’ certification through its technological capabilities in the digital healthcare field. This achievement recognizes the expertise based on the technical foundation of Duzon Bizon’s cloud-based precision medical big data platform.
The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) is an international non-profit organization established to promote the development and efficiency of the digital healthcare market. It is regarded as the most authoritative certification body worldwide that evaluates and verifies the informatization level of medical institutions and sets standards. The AMAM (Adoption Model for Analytics Maturity) certification obtained by Samsung Seoul Hospital assesses the maturity of data analytics capabilities possessed by medical institutions.
Duzon Bizon participated in the HIMSS AMAM evaluation process and directly presented the precision medical big data platform as well as the configuration and service details of Samsung Seoul Hospital’s Private CDW (Clinical Data Warehouse).
Through Duzon Bizon’s precision medical big data platform, Samsung Seoul Hospital received high scores in clinical risk intervention and data prediction and analysis capabilities, enabling it to achieve the Stage 6 certification. Building on this accomplishment, Samsung Seoul Hospital was honored with an award at the ‘HIMSS 2023 Asia-Pacific Digital Healthcare Awards’ held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The precision medical big data platform is a project commissioned by Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province and is being promoted by a consortium including Duzon Bizon, Samsung Seoul Hospital, and 10 other large hospitals and related companies. The goal is to realize a unified healthcare ecosystem that aims for standardization and sharing of information. It establishes a foundation for collecting high-quality medical data involving multiple large hospitals and enables data analysis through AI technology.
Additionally, the CDW, which is the outcome of the precision medical big data platform construction project, features an organic integration of Duzon Bizon’s cloud, big data, and artificial intelligence technologies with Samsung Seoul Hospital’s patented clinical research data provision methods and systems. Based on the cloud, it handles everything from the collection of hospital research medical data to cleansing, labeling, AI modeling, storage, processing, and analysis, allowing for broad utilization of data. Currently, Samsung Seoul Hospital and Gangwon National University Hospital have completed CDW construction, and this year, three hospitals including Samsung Changwon Hospital, Kangbuk Samsung Hospital, and Bundang CHA Hospital plan to build CDWs. In 2024, Wonju Severance Christian Hospital and Boomin Hospital are also planning CDW construction.
