Erdogan to Meet Musk Ahead of UN General Assembly
Recep Tayyip Erdo?an, President of T?rkiye, is set to meet Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, on the 17th (local time) ahead of the United Nations General Assembly to discuss cooperation in various areas including space technology and electric vehicle batteries, Bloomberg reported.
According to the report, President Erdo?an, who traveled to New York, USA to attend the UN General Assembly, invited CEO Musk to the newly constructed T?rkiye House building across from the UN headquarters. The two are expected to discuss cooperation plans in space technology, electric vehicle batteries, and other areas. The report stated, "Musk's SpaceX has collaborated with Turkey's space program to launch communication satellites. Additionally, Turkey is seeking assistance from CEO Musk to develop its first domestically produced EV battery."
