Hyundai Motor Group Provides $1.1 Million Support for Damage Recovery in Morocco and Libya
Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 17th that it will provide $1.1 million in relief funds to Morocco, which suffered earthquake damage, and Libya, which experienced flooding. The funds are $500,000 for Morocco and $600,000 for Libya.
The relief funds were delivered to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies through the Korean Red Cross by four affiliates: Hyundai Motor, Kia, Hyundai Construction, and Hyundai Engineering. The funds will be used for local relief activities and damage recovery.

Separately from this support, Hyundai Motor's Middle East and Africa Headquarters is cooperating with local dealerships in Morocco to support the transportation of school supplies and blood donation activities. They are also providing discounts on damaged vehicle parts and free inspection services. Kia, together with local dealerships, is lending vehicles free of charge to nonprofit organizations and donated an ambulance-converted vehicle to the Moroccan government. In Libya, free vehicle inspections for damaged vehicles are being conducted, and local dealerships have delivered essential goods equivalent to 30 trucks.
