The Protected Birth system supports crisis pregnant women to give birth at medical institutions with de-identified information after a certain level of counseling if they choose protected birth, and the children born are to be placed under protective measures such as adoption by local governments according to the Child Welfare Act. It must be closely linked with the Civil Act, the Family Relations Registration Act, and others. The meeting discussed ways to make the bill clearer and easier to understand to prevent problems when the bill is implemented.
