Mintrocket to Release 'Dave the Diver' on Nintendo Switch on October 26
Nexon announced on the 15th that its game sub-brand Mintrocket's hybrid marine adventure new title, "Dave the Diver" (hereafter referred to as "Dave"), will be officially released for the Nintendo Switch version on October 26.
On the 14th, the official release date of "Dave the Diver" was revealed during the "Nintendo Direct" presentation introducing new Switch titles. The Nintendo Switch version of "Dave" will be available only as downloadable content and will be sold on the Nintendo eShop.
Nexon will conduct pre-orders for the Switch version of "Dave" from today until the release date. Users who pre-order will receive special bonuses including "Boat Painting" and "Sushi Restaurant Interior." Additionally, a free trial version is currently available on Nintendo, and a data save feature will be provided so players can continue playing after the official release.
Hwang Jae-ho, director of "Dave the Diver," stated, "We have devoted great effort to developing the Nintendo Switch version to provide various fun experiences for users," adding, "By reflecting the unique features of the Switch, players will be able to enjoy a distinctive gameplay experience with 'Dave's' characteristic tactile feel and controls."

Meanwhile, "Dave" was simultaneously released globally on Steam on June 28. It ranked first in global sales among paid games on Steam and surpassed 1 million cumulative sales as of July 8. To date, over 51,000 player reviews have been posted on Steam, maintaining a 97% "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating. On the game review site Metacritic, it secured a score of 90 points and earned the "Must Play" badge.
