The list of name candidates for the twin pandas born to giant pandas Aibao and Lubao has been narrowed down to 10. Everland announced on the 14th, "About 20,000 domestic and international fans participated in the 'Twin Panda Name Contest' held through our SNS channels and the zoo fan cafe for about ten days starting from the 24th of last month." Everland selected 10 pairs of panda name candidates to proceed with the first round of online voting through a naming selection committee.
The 10 pairs of name candidates all include 'Bao,' a family name in the Bao family meaning 'treasure.' Various names were selected as candidates, such as 'Mingbao-Langbao,' wishing for cheerful growth, and 'Jianbao-Ruibao,' meaning health and wisdom.

Everland plans to narrow down the candidates to 4 pairs based on the results of the first online voting, which will run until the 20th. From the 25th to the 6th of next month, the final candidates will be chosen through the second round of voting conducted both online and offline via the Everland website, Naver Open Talk, and Panda World on-site. The confirmed names are expected to be announced around mid-next month, marking the 100th day since the twin baby pandas were born.
