Hampyeong-gun, Jeonnam's First Full Tuition Scholarship Support for University Students
Hampyeong-gun is accepting applications for the 2023 second half Talent Development Fund scholarships to support the cultivation of local talent.
According to the county on the 14th, the 2023 2nd Talent Development Promotion Committee regular meeting was held on the 12th to finalize the selection guidelines for the second half Talent Development Fund scholarships.
The scholarship support categories for the second half are divided into three types: university students ‘local talent’, ‘academic excellence’, and ‘academic encouragement fund’.
The number of selected recipients is 225, with a total support amount of approximately 480 million KRW.
In particular, starting this second half, Hampyeong-gun plans to strengthen talent development by providing the first full tuition scholarship in Jeollanam-do along with newly established academic encouragement funds.
The selection guidelines will be announced on the Hampyeong-gun Office website on the 18th, and applications will be accepted at the town and township offices until October 6.
The final selection of scholarship recipients will be made through the Hampyeong-gun Talent Development Promotion Committee review meeting, and scholarships are scheduled to be awarded in November.
