Yongin City Supports Environmental Improvement for Small Manufacturing and Knowledge Industry Centers
Support up to 80% of Costs in 5 Areas Including Infrastructure and Labor Environment
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 14th that it is accepting applications for the '2024 Business Environment Improvement Project' targeting small and medium-sized manufacturing companies and knowledge industry centers in the region until the 26th.
The Business Environment Improvement Project is divided into five sectors: ▲infrastructure ▲labor environment ▲work environment ▲knowledge industry centers ▲firefighting facilities, and applications are accepted accordingly.
The 'infrastructure' sector supports projects such as road expansion and paving, water supply and sewage, small bridges, and stormwater pipe maintenance in areas densely populated with small and medium-sized enterprises. Applications can be submitted by groups of five or more companies.
The 'labor environment' sector supports the installation and renovation of dormitories, lounges, cafeterias, and restrooms, with funding up to 40 million KRW. Small and medium-sized manufacturing companies with fewer than 200 employees can apply. Applicants must have been in business for more than one year after business registration and have an average sales revenue of 30 billion KRW or less over the past three years.
The 'work environment' sector supports renovation of workspaces, installation of storage racks, workbenches, ventilation, dust collection devices, and LED lighting. Small enterprises operating manufacturing businesses with fewer than 50 employees and more than one year of business registration can receive subsidies up to 20 million KRW.
The 'knowledge industry center' sector provides up to 60 million KRW to knowledge industry centers that have been completed for more than seven years, supporting renovation of public facilities such as parking lots and restrooms, as well as renovation of aging machine rooms and electrical equipment.
The 'firefighting facilities' sector supports both small and medium-sized manufacturing companies and knowledge industry centers. It provides up to 60 million KRW for the installation and renovation of firefighting facilities such as alarm systems, wireless fire detectors, and automatic fire detection equipment.
Companies wishing to apply should submit the application form and required documents in person or by mail to the Corporate Support Division of the City Hall.
