Power Outage for 3 Hours in 3,000-Unit Apartment Complex in Wolgye-dong, Seoul... One Resident Trapped in Elevator
At around 4:10 PM on the 13th, the entire electricity supply to the Hanjin Hanwha Granville Apartment complex in Wolgye-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul was cut off.
Due to the blackout, one resident was trapped in an elevator and was rescued by the fire department.
Korea Electric Power Corporation and the apartment management explained that all 3,003 households in 25 buildings experienced a power outage due to an internal facility issue within the complex.
Electricity supply began to be restored sequentially from around 7 PM.
